Walking
Start from the central market (Marché de la Ville) in Antsiranana. From the market, head northeast on Avenue de l'Indépendance for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Rue de l'Université. Turn left on Rue de l'Université and continue for another 300 meters. You will then come across the Place Joffre on your right, identified by its unique landmark and the address P7JQ+MW7, R Joffre.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from a local shop in the city center. Start at Avenue de la République and head northeast for about 1 kilometer, passing by the local shops and cafes. When you reach the intersection with Rue de l'Université, turn left and cycle for about 300 meters. Place Joffre will be on your right, marked by its distinctive features.
Public Transport (Taxi-Brousse)
Take a taxi-brousse from the main station in Antsiranana. Inform the driver that you want to go to 'R Joffre'. Once you arrive at the nearest stop, walk for about 200 meters in the direction of Avenue de l'Indépendance. Turn right onto Rue de l'Université, and after approximately 300 meters, you will find Place Joffre on your right.
