If you are traveling by car, start from Toliara (also known as Tulear), which is the nearest major city. Head southeast on Route Nationale 7 (RN7) towards the town of Anakao. This route is well-marked and takes you along the coast. Continue on RN7 for approximately 70 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. Take the right fork towards the Southernpoint view, which is about 15 kilometers away. The last stretch may involve unpaved roads, so be prepared for some rough terrain. Ensure your vehicle has sufficient fuel, as gas stations can be scarce in this area.

From Toliara, you can take a taxi-brousse (shared minibus) to Anakao. Head to the main taxi-brousse station in Toliara, where you can find several options heading to Anakao.
