Car
If you are driving from the center of Atsinanana, head east on Route Nationale 2 (RN2) towards Toamasina. Continue for approximately 30 kilometers. Once you reach the town of Ivoloina, look for signs directing you to Parc Ivoloina. The entrance is located just off the main road. There is usually no parking fee, but ensure you have local currency for any entrance fees.
Public Transportation
To reach Parc Ivoloina via public transport, take a taxi-brousse (shared minibus) from the central station in Atsinanana heading towards Toamasina. Inform the driver that you wish to disembark at Ivoloina. The journey will take around 45 minutes. Be prepared to pay a fare of approximately 2,000 to 5,000 Ariary (0.50 to 1.25 USD). Once you arrive in Ivoloina, walk a short distance to the park entrance, which will be well-signposted.
Walking
If you are staying in Ivoloina, you can reach Parc Ivoloina by walking. The park is located approximately 1 to 2 kilometers from the center of the village. Follow the main road towards the park entrance, which is marked with signs. The walk will take around 20 to 30 minutes.
