Car

If you are driving from the center of Atsinanana, head southeast on Route National 2 (RN2) towards Toamasina. Continue on RN2 for approximately 60 kilometers. Once you reach Toamasina, follow the signs directing you to the beach area. You can look for the coordinates RCW9+H6F on your GPS to find the exact location of Toamasina Beach. There is usually free parking available near the beach.

Public Transportation (Taxi-Brousse)

To reach Toamasina Beach via public transport, take a taxi-brousse from one of the main taxi-brousse stations in Atsinanana. Look for a taxi-brousse heading to Toamasina. The fare typically ranges from 10,000 to 20,000 MGA (Malagasy Ariary), depending on the service and time of day. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon arrival at the Toamasina taxi-brousse station, you can either walk or take a local taxi to the beach, which is about a 10-minute drive away. Make sure to ask for directions to RCW9+H6F, Toamasina 501.
