From Sofia, take the RN7 road south towards Toliara. The drive to Isalo National Park will take approximately 10 hours, covering around 650 km. Ensure you have enough fuel and water for the journey. On your way, you might want to stop in towns such as Antananarivo to rest and refuel. Once you reach the town of Ranohira, follow the signs leading to Isalo National Park.

Begin your journey by taking a taxi-brousse (shared taxi) from Sofia to Antananarivo. The trip can take around 12 hours. Once in Antananarivo, you will need to take another taxi-brousse to Toliara, which will take about 12-14 hours. From Toliara, take a taxi-brousse to Ranohira, the nearest town to Isalo National Park, which takes approximately 2 hours. Finally, hire a local taxi or walk to the park entrance.
