Once in Antananarivo, take Route Nationale 2 (RN2) heading east towards Toamasina. After approximately 300 kilometers, you will reach Toamasina. From Toamasina, continue on RN2 until you reach the turn-off for Route Nationale 5 (RN5) towards Maroantsetra. This final leg is about 120 kilometers. Once you arrive in Maroantsetra, you will need to take a boat to reach Masoala National Park, as it is only accessible via water. Be prepared for additional costs for the boat ride, which can vary.
