    Getting There

    Walking

    From the Hulls Cove Visitor Center, head southwest along the Park Loop Road. After approximately 0.5 miles, you will reach the intersection with the Jordan Pond Road. Turn left onto Jordan Pond Road and continue walking for about 1 mile. You will pass beautiful views of Jordan Pond on your right. Follow the signs for the trailhead to Boulder Beach, located on the right side of the road.

    Walking

    If you are near Cadillac Mountain, start at the Cadillac Mountain parking area and follow the trails that lead down towards the Park Loop Road. Once you reach the Park Loop Road, turn left and walk towards the Jordan Pond area. Continue walking until you reach the Boulder Beach trailhead. This route is approximately 2 miles and offers scenic views along the way.

    Biking

    If you have access to a bike, you can easily reach Boulder Beach by taking the carriage roads from the Jordan Pond area. Start at the Jordan Pond House and follow the carriage road signs towards the south. You will eventually connect with the Park Loop Road. Follow the road to the Boulder Beach area. This route is about 3 miles and is a great way to enjoy the natural beauty of Acadia National Park.

    Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, take the Island Explorer Shuttle from Bar Harbor to the Jordan Pond House stop. From there, follow the walking path to the Park Loop Road and head south until you find the Boulder Beach trailhead. This option provides a beautiful scenic route while enjoying the park's sights.
