Walking
If you are near Jordan Pond, start by heading southwest on the Jordan Pond Path. Continue along this scenic route for about 1.5 miles until you reach the junction with the Park Loop Road. Turn left at the junction and follow the road for approximately 0.5 miles until you see the entrance to Suminsby Park on your right. The park is well marked and features a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape.

Biking
From the Bar Harbor Village Green, start biking east on the Carriage Roads. Ride along the scenic routes for about 2 miles, enjoying the natural beauty of Acadia. When you reach the intersection with the Park Loop Road, take a right and continue for about 1 mile. Suminsby Park will be on your right. This route is mostly flat and offers a pleasant biking experience.

Hiking
Begin your hike at the Eagle Lake Trailhead. Follow the Eagle Lake Trail for about 1 mile, which will take you to the shores of Eagle Lake. Once you reach the lake, take the trail that leads around the lake towards the Park Loop Road. After about 0.7 miles, you will connect with the Park Loop Road. Turn left and walk for another 0.5 miles to reach Suminsby Park. This route provides stunning views and a relaxing hiking experience.
