Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Jordan Pond House, walk along the Jordan Pond Path heading west. Continue on this scenic path until you reach the intersection with the Park Loop Road. Turn left onto Park Loop Road and walk towards Seal Harbor. After approximately 1.5 miles, you will find a marked trailhead for the Stanley Brook Trail on your right. Follow the Stanley Brook Trail, which will lead you directly to the Stanley Brook Bridge.

    From the Village Green in Bar Harbor, take the carriage roads that connect to the Park Loop Road. Head towards Jordan Pond, then follow the signs to Seal Harbor. Once you reach Park Loop Road, turn left and bike along the road until you find the trailhead for the Stanley Brook Trail. The bike ride is approximately 5 miles, and the trail will take you straight to the bridge.
