Hiking
From Jordan Pond House, head northwest on the Jordan Pond Path. Enjoy the scenic views of Jordan Pond as you make your way along the trail. After about 0.5 miles, you will reach the intersection with the Bubbles Trail. Take the Bubbles Trail to the left, which will lead you towards South Bubble. The hike is moderately strenuous, with some rocky sections. As you ascend, keep an eye out for the signs leading you to Bubble Rock. After approximately 1 mile, you will reach the summit of South Bubble, where Bubble Rock is located. Take a moment to enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding area.
Hiking
If you are starting from the Park Loop Road, find the trailhead for the Bubbles Trail located near the Bubble Pond parking area. Begin your hike on the Bubbles Trail, which is a well-marked route. You will hike for about 1.5 miles, and the trail will lead you up to South Bubble. Follow the trail signs as you ascend, and be prepared for some rocky terrain. When you reach the summit, you will find Bubble Rock perched on the edge of the mountain, offering a unique photo opportunity and breathtaking views.
Hiking
For a scenic start, you can begin at the Sieur de Monts Spring area. From there, take the Wild Gardens of Acadia Trail. After exploring the gardens, connect to the Bubbles Trail. This route is slightly longer but provides a variety of landscapes. Follow the Bubbles Trail for about 2 miles, and you will soon reach South Bubble. As you arrive at the summit, you will encounter the iconic Bubble Rock, where you can take in the panoramic views of Acadia National Park.
