Start your journey at the Bangor Public Library located at 145 Harlow St, Bangor, ME 04401. Head northwest on Harlow St toward Main St, then turn right onto Main St. Walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with State St. Cross State St and continue walking straight onto Kittredge Rd. Follow Kittredge Rd for about 1 mile, and you will see the entrance to Northeast Penjajawoc Preserve on your left.

Begin at the Bangor City Hall located at 73 Harlow St, Bangor, ME 04401. Take the Aroostook Bus Line from the nearest bus stop towards the University of Maine. Get off at the stop near the University, then walk south on College Ave. until you reach Kittredge Rd. Turn left onto Kittredge Rd and follow it for about 0.7 miles until you arrive at the Northeast Penjajawoc Preserve entrance on your right.

If you have a bike, start at the Bangor Waterfront located at 1 Main St, Bangor, ME 04401. Head east on Main St and take a left on State St. After about 0.3 miles, take a right onto Kittredge Rd. Continue biking on Kittredge Rd for approximately 1 mile, and the Northeast Penjajawoc Preserve will be on your left.
