    If you're driving, start your journey from Bangor, ME. Head north on I-95 N for approximately 7 miles. Take exit 182A for I-395 E toward Brewer. Continue on I-395 E for about 3 miles. Merge onto US-2 E/US-1A N, and follow for about 2 miles until you reach the Veazie area. Turn right onto Penobscot River Road, and you will find the Veazie Historic Dam Site located along the river. Parking is available along the road.

    To reach the Veazie Historic Dam Site using public transportation, take the BAT Community Connector bus from downtown Bangor. Board the bus at the Bangor City Hall stop and take Route 5 toward Veazie. The bus will take you to the Veazie Town Office stop. From there, it's a short walk to the Penobscot River.
