From the center of Bar Harbor, head north on Main Street towards the intersection with Mount Desert Street. Continue straight as Main Street becomes Route 3. After about 0.5 miles, you'll see the entrance to Acadia National Park on your right. Enter the park and follow the signs for the Champlain Mountain trailhead. The trailhead is located at the end of the parking area. The total walking distance from the center of Bar Harbor to the trailhead is approximately 1 mile.
