Getting There

Walking
From the center of Bar Harbor, head southwest on Main Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Eden Street (Route 3). Turn left onto Eden Street and walk for about 0.5 miles. You'll see a sign for Acadia National Park. Continue straight as Eden Street becomes Route 3. After about 1 mile, you will reach the entrance to Acadia National Park. There is a visitor center where you can get maps and information. Once inside the park, follow the signs to Park Loop Road. You can walk or bike along Park Loop Road to reach Bubble Rock. It is approximately 2 miles from the visitor center to Bubble Rock. Look for signs indicating the trail to Bubble Rock as you approach.

Biking
From Bar Harbor, rent a bike at one of the local bike rental shops. Start at the intersection of Main Street and Eden Street (Route 3). Head southwest on Main Street, then turn left onto Eden Street. Continue for about 0.5 miles towards the entrance of Acadia National Park. Once you enter the park, follow Park Loop Road. It’s about a 2-mile bike ride to Bubble Rock from the entrance. Look for signage that directs you to the trail leading to Bubble Rock.

Take the Island Explorer bus from Bar Harbor. Board the bus at the designated stop on Main Street. Make sure to check the schedule for pickup times. Ride the bus towards Acadia National Park and disembark at the 'Jordan Pond House' stop. From there, follow the signs to Park Loop Road. Bubble Rock is about a 1-mile hike from Jordan Pond House along the scenic trails. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes for hiking.
