Walking
From downtown Biddeford, head southeast on Main Street toward Alfred Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Pool Street. Turn left onto Pool Street and follow it until you reach the end, where it intersects with Route 1. Turn right onto Route 1 and walk along the sidewalk for about 0.5 miles. You will see signs for South Portland, and shortly after, turn left onto Bunker Lane. Fort Preble will be on your left.

From Biddeford, walk to the nearest bus stop located at Main Street and Alfred Street. Take the South Portland bus (check the schedule for exact routes and times). Ride the bus until you reach the stop at Bunker Lane. Once you get off, walk straight ahead for about 5 minutes, and Fort Preble will be on your left.
