From the center of Brunswick, head south on Maine Street towards the coast. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Pleasant Street. Turn left onto Pleasant Street and follow it as it curves towards the east. After about 0.5 miles, you will come to the end of Pleasant Street, where you will find the Casco Bay Ferry Terminal. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Portland. The ferry ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Portland, walk towards the waterfront area and look for the nearest dock that offers boat tours or excursions to Ram Island Ledge Light Station. These tours typically depart from the Old Port area.

From Brunswick, take the Downeaster Amtrak train from the Brunswick Station heading south to Portland. The train ride lasts about 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Portland’s Amtrak station, exit the station and head towards the waterfront area. You can either walk (approximately 15 minutes) or take a local bus (METRO) heading towards the Old Port district.
