Continue on I-295 S for about 2 miles. Take exit 2A for Franklin Street toward US-1 S. Follow Franklin Street until it turns into Commercial Street. Continue along Commercial Street until you reach the end of the road, where you can see the entrance to the East End Beach. From there, follow the shoreline to the south, passing through various parks, until you reach Ottawa Ave. Fort Levett will be located on your left, just past a small residential area. There is no parking fee, but be aware of local parking regulations.

    To reach Fort Levett using public transportation, start at the Portland Transportation Center. Take the METRO Bus route 1 (Maine Mall) towards the Maine Mall. Ride to the stop at 'Commercial St + Eastern Promenade'.
