Walking from Bar Harbor
Start in Bar Harbor, which is the main hub for visitors in Acadia National Park. From the center of Bar Harbor, head to the Island Explorer bus stop located near the Village Green. Take the Island Explorer Bus (Route 1) to the Schoodic Peninsula. The bus will take you to the ferry terminal in Winter Harbor. From there, you can walk about 1 mile along the scenic Shore Road to reach Schoodic Point. Follow the signs leading to Schoodic Point, enjoying the beautiful coastal views along the way.

Biking from Acadia National Park
If you’re starting from Acadia National Park and want to bike, head towards the Schoodic Peninsula via the Schoodic Connector Trail. The trail is approximately 5 miles long and will take you through beautiful forested areas.
