    From the center of Bar Harbor, make your way towards the Acadia National Park Visitor Center located at 20 McFarland Hill Drive. The Visitor Center is approximately 1 mile away and can be reached by walking along Route 3. Once at the Visitor Center, you can pick up maps and information about the Gorham Mountain Trail. To reach the trailhead, continue on Route 3 and take the left onto Gorham Mountain Road after about 2 miles. Follow Gorham Mountain Road until you reach the parking area for the trailhead on your right. The trail begins here, and you can start your hike up Gorham Mountain.

    If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the local shops in Bar Harbor. Start your journey by biking along the scenic Park Loop Road. Head towards the Acadia National Park Visitor Center and continue on the loop road, which will lead you directly to the Gorham Mountain Trail.
