From Old Orchard Beach, start by heading west on East Grand Avenue toward Saco Avenue. Continue on Saco Avenue for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Turn left onto Route 1 North. Follow Route 1 for approximately 8 miles, passing through Saco and Biddeford. After 8 miles, take the exit toward Route 9 East/Bailey Island. Merge onto Route 9 and follow it for about 4 miles, enjoying the scenic views. This road will lead you directly to Bailey Island. Once you arrive on Bailey Island, follow the signs to Halfway Rock Light Station, which is located on the coast. Parking is available nearby.
