If you are driving from Portland Head Light, start by heading southwest on Shore Road toward Cape Elizabeth. Continue on Shore Road for about 1.5 miles. You will see signs for Fort Williams Park on your right. Turn into the park entrance, which is located at 1000 Shore Road, Cape Elizabeth, ME 04107. There is no entrance fee for the park. Once inside, follow the signs to the lighthouse.

To reach Fort Williams Park via public transportation, start at the nearest bus stop in Portland Head Light. Take the South Portland bus (Metro Bus Route 21). Ride the bus for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the Cape Elizabeth-South Portland bus stop. From there, you will need to walk about 0.5 miles to the park entrance at 1000 Shore Road. Be sure to check the bus schedule for the latest timings. A one-way fare is approximately $2.00.
