Walking
From the center of the West End, head east on Brackett Street toward Congress Street. Turn right onto Congress Street and continue walking for about 0.3 miles. Monument Square will be on your left at 456 Congress St, Portland, ME 04101. This route takes you through a charming part of the neighborhood, allowing you to enjoy the local architecture and atmosphere.
Public Transportation
If you are near a bus stop, you can take the METRO bus. Look for the 'Green Line' or 'Blue Line' routes that connect to Congress Street. Board the bus heading towards downtown Portland. The fare is $1.50 for a single ride. Once you reach the stop at 'Congress St + Casco St', disembark and walk a short distance east on Congress Street for about 2 minutes to reach Monument Square.
