Walking
From downtown Saco, head north on Main Street. Follow Main Street until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Cross Route 1 and continue walking straight, which will take you to the Saco River. Once you reach the river, turn right and follow the riverbank until you reach the Saco River Walk. This will lead you towards the eastern part of the city. Continue on the River Walk until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge to enter Portland. After crossing, continue straight until you reach Eastern Promenade Trail. The trail begins shortly after you enter the park area.
Public Transport
From downtown Saco, walk to the nearest bus stop located at Main Street and Ocean Park Road. Take the Metro bus number 3 towards Portland. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop called 'Eastern Promenade.' Once you disembark, walk towards the waterfront, and you will find the entrance to Eastern Promenade Trail nearby. Follow the signs to the trail.
