  • Public Bus

    From Saco, head to the Saco Transportation Center located at 15 Main St, Saco, ME 04072. Board the METRO bus route #1 towards Portland. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop at 'South Portland - Maine Mall.' Transfer to the #8 bus towards Cape Elizabeth. Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at the 'Portland Head Light' stop. The lighthouse will be a short walk from the bus stop.

    From Saco, start at the Saco Riverwalk located along the Saco River. Take the Riverwalk south until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Follow Route 1 south for approximately 6 miles.
