You will pass several local shops and cafes. As you approach the waterfront, look for the scenic views of the harbor. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Breakwater Drive. Turn left onto Breakwater Drive and follow it for about 0.3 miles until you reach the entrance to the Greenbelt Walkway. Enter the walkway, and enjoy the scenic path along the coast. Follow the walkway for about 0.5 miles until you arrive at the Echo Point Lighthouse, which will be visible from the pathway.

If you have a bicycle, start at the South Portland Community Center located at 21 Nelson Rd, South Portland, ME 04106. Exit the center and head north on Nelson Road towards Broadway. Turn right onto Broadway and continue for about 0.3 miles. At the intersection with Ocean Street, turn left onto Ocean Street. Ride along Ocean Street for about 1 mile, enjoying the local scenery. As you reach the waterfront area, turn left onto Breakwater Drive. Follow Breakwater Drive until you see the entrance to the Greenbelt Walkway.
