    From Sugarloaf Mountain, head southwest on the access road towards Route 27. Merge onto ME-27 S and continue for about 9 miles. Turn left onto W Flagstaff Rd. After approximately 4 miles, you will reach Bigelow Preserve, which is located on your left. There is no entrance fee, and parking is available on site.
