From any location in Washington County, head towards the town of Cutler. If you are starting from Eastport, take ME-190 West and then turn onto ME-1 South. Follow ME-1 South until you reach the intersection with ME-191. Turn onto ME-191 North, and continue for approximately 6 miles. The entrance to Cutler Coast Public Reserved Land will be on your right. Look for parking areas designated for visitors.

Public transportation options are limited in Washington County. However, you can take the Downeast Transportation bus service from Machias to Cutler. Make sure to check the schedule beforehand as service may not be frequent. Once you arrive in Cutler, you will need to walk or arrange for a taxi to reach the Cutler Coast Public Reserved Land, which is about 3 miles from the bus stop. Walking will take approximately an hour, so consider contacting local taxi services in advance.

If you prefer cycling, you can bike to Cutler Coast from nearby towns. For example, if you are in Machias, take the ME-1 South route, which is about 12 miles to Cutler. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow traffic rules. Once you reach ME-191, head north for a few miles until you reach the entrance to Cutler Coast Public Reserved Land.
