Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, head towards Cape Elizabeth from anywhere in Washington County. Use Route 1 South to reach Cape Elizabeth. Once you enter Cape Elizabeth, follow signs for Shore Road. Turn onto Shore Road, and continue for about 1 mile. Fort Williams Park will be on your left at 1000 Shore Rd, Cape Elizabeth, ME 04107. There is ample parking available at the park. Note that there may be a parking fee during peak seasons.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from various locations in Washington County to Portland. From Portland, catch the Metro bus #1 towards South Portland. Get off at the Cape Elizabeth stop on Route 77. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Fort Williams Park.
