Getting There

Car
If you are driving from the center of Chinteche, head north on the main road (M5) towards Mzuzu. Continue for about 25 kilometers. As you approach Mzuzu, look for signs indicating the turn-off to Chikale Beach. Turn left onto the road marked for Chikale Beach, and follow this road for about 3 kilometers until you reach the beach entrance. There are no tolls on this route.

To reach Chikale Beach by minibus, head to the Chinteche bus station and find a minibus heading to Mzuzu. The fare should be around 1,000 MWK. Inform the driver or conductor that you want to get off at the Chikale Beach turn-off.
