Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car within Dzalanyama Forest Reserve, start your journey by heading towards the main entrance of the reserve. From there, drive along the main road that leads to Bunda Mountain. Follow signs pointing towards Lilongwe, which is approximately 30 kilometers away. Keep an eye on your GPS or a reliable map for the coordinates RQQG+MWM, Lilongwe. As you approach the area, you will see signs for Bunda Mountain. Make sure to park in designated areas once you arrive.

    If you are using public transportation, start by taking a minibus or shared taxi from nearby towns within the Dzalanyama Forest Reserve to Lilongwe. Once in Lilongwe, you will need to find a local minibus that heads towards the area near Bunda Mountain. Ask the driver to drop you off at a point closest to RQQG+MWM.
