From Dzalanyama Forest Reserve, take the main road leading towards Lilongwe. Continue driving for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction in Tsambango. Turn left at the junction and keep an eye out for the signs directing you towards Matchansi. The final destination will be located at 2R64+C69, Tsambango, Lilongwe. This route should take around 45 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

To reach Matchansi via public transport, start by finding a minibus from Dzalanyama Forest Reserve heading to Lilongwe. Once you arrive in Lilongwe, you will need to transfer to a local minibus or taxi heading towards Tsambango. Inform the driver that you are going to Matchansi. The entire journey may take about 1.5 to 2 hours, including waiting times for the minibuses. Be prepared to pay a small fare for each leg of your journey, typically around 500-1000 MWK.
