Getting There

Car
If you are driving from central Lilongwe, head southeast on Kamuzu Procession Road. Continue straight for about 7 km until you reach the junction with the M1 (Malawi's main road). Turn left onto the M1 and drive for approximately 3 km. Take the exit toward Chitipi and follow the signs to Barefoot Lodge and Safaris. Once you turn onto Barefoot Road, continue for about 1 km. The lodge will be on your right at 1 Barefoot Road NRC, Chitipi Lilongwe. Parking is available on-site.

Public Transportation (Minibus)
To reach Barefoot Lodge and Safaris using public transport, find a minibus heading towards Chitipi from Lilongwe's main bus station. The fare is typically around 500 MWK (Malawian Kwacha). Inform the conductor that you are going to Chitipi, and get off at the Chitipi stop. From there, you can either walk (approximately 1.5 km) or take a short taxi ride to Barefoot Lodge. If walking, head southeast on Chitipi Road, then turn left onto Barefoot Road. The lodge will be ahead on your left.
