    From the center of Mangochi, head south on the main road (M1). Continue walking for about 6 kilometers until you reach the junction for Namwera. Look for signs pointing to Namwera, which is a small town along the way. Turn left onto the road leading to Namwera and continue straight for about 3 kilometers. You will see signs indicating the direction to Fort Mangochi. The fort is located in the Namwera area. Follow the signs until you reach the ruins.

    If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Mangochi and ride south on the M1 road. This route is approximately 6 kilometers. When you reach the junction for Namwera, turn left and continue for another 3 kilometers. Look for directional signs for Fort Mangochi as you approach Namwera. The fort is located nearby, and you can safely park your bicycle at the site.
