Car
If you are traveling by car from Mulanje town, head east on the M1 road. After about 10 km, take the exit towards T417 road. Continue on T417 for approximately 5 km. Look for the Bvumbwe Research Station sign; Game Haven Lodge will be located nearby on T417. Keep an eye out for the lodge's sign on your left-hand side.
Public Transportation
To reach Game Haven Lodge via public transport, catch a minibus from the Mulanje bus station heading towards Blantyre. Inform the driver you want to stop at Bvumbwe Research Station. After about 30-40 minutes, you will arrive at the research station. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to the lodge along T417. Be sure to ask locals for directions if needed.
Taxi
If you're considering a taxi, you can hire one from Mulanje town. It should take about 20-30 minutes to reach Game Haven Lodge. Make sure to agree on a fare before starting your journey, typically around 5000 MWK (Malawian Kwacha), but prices may vary.
