Car
If you are driving from Mulanje town, head southeast on the M1 road towards the Likhubula area. Continue on this road for approximately 15 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Likhubula and Mulanje Massif. Once you reach the junction for Likhubula, turn left. Continue on this road for another 5 kilometers. You will find Gateway Lodge on your left at the coordinates 3F3Q+C55 Likhubula. There is usually ample parking available.

Public Transportation
From Mulanje town, you can take a minibus heading towards Likhubula. These minibuses are frequent and can be found at the main bus station in Mulanje. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Likhubula junction, which is approximately a 20-minute ride. Once you get off at the junction, you will need to walk about 5 kilometers along the road towards Gateway Lodge. If you are already in the Likhubula area and prefer to walk, head towards the main road and follow it in the direction of Mulanje Massif. The hike is about 5 kilometers and will take approximately 1 hour. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the walk can be quite warm.
