    To reach Nyala Park from Mulanje Massif by car, start by heading out of the Mulanje town center. Follow the main road (M1) towards Blantyre. After approximately 15 kilometers, take the exit towards the M5 road leading to Thyolo. Continue on the M5 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the turn-off for the RV94 road. Turn onto RV94, and follow the signs for Nyala Park. The park entrance will be on your right, and you can park at the designated area. Ensure you have some local currency for the entrance fee, which is typically around 5,000 MWK.

  • Public Transportation (Minibus)

    If you prefer public transportation, you can take a minibus from Mulanje to Thyolo. Head to the main minibus station in Mulanje town. Look for a minibus with 'Thyolo' displayed on the front. The fare should be around 1,000 MWK. The journey takes about 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive in Thyolo, you will need to find another minibus heading to the RV94 area. Again, look for a minibus with 'Nyala Park' or 'RV94' on it. The fare for this leg of the journey is typically around 2,000 MWK. The driver should drop you off near the park entrance.
