Getting There

Car
If you're driving from Mulanje town, head north on the A16 road towards Zomba. After about 20 kilometers, look for the sign pointing to Old Mountain Road on your right. Turn onto Old Mountain Road and follow it for approximately 3 kilometers. You will find Zomba Forest Lodge on your left, just before reaching the intersection with Old Up Road.

From Mulanje, take a minibus heading to Zomba. The fare is typically around 1,500 MWK. Once you arrive in Zomba, you will need to take a taxi or a local bike taxi (known as 'piki piki') to reach Zomba Forest Lodge. The taxi ride will cost around 5,000 MWK and will take about 20 minutes. Make sure to tell the driver to take you to Old Mountain Road, just before Old Up Road.
