Car
From Phalombe Plains, head southeast on the main road towards Mulanje. Follow the signs for Mulanje Mountain. After approximately 20 kilometers, you will reach the town of Mulanje. Continue driving through Mulanje town, and then take the road leading to the Mulanje Mountain Forest Reserve. As you approach the reserve, look for signs directing you to Chisepo Hut. The last part of the journey involves navigating on dirt roads, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. After about 10 kilometers on these roads, you will arrive at Chisepo Hut.

Public Transportation
From Phalombe Plains, take a minibus to Mulanje town. The minibuses are available from the main bus station in Phalombe. The fare is approximately 500 MWK. Once you arrive in Mulanje, you can hire a local taxi to take you to the Mulanje Mountain Forest Reserve. The taxi fare should be around 2,000 MWK.
