Car
From the center of Thyolo Highlands, head northwest on the main road towards Blantyre. Continue on the A4 road for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Blantyre. Look for signs for Kaohsiung Road, and turn left onto this road. La Caverna, located at Old Manager’s House National Monument, will be on your right. Make sure to have cash on hand for any parking fees that may apply.

Public Transportation
To reach La Caverna by public transport, take a minibus from Thyolo Highlands to Blantyre. The journey will take around 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Blantyre, ask the driver to drop you off near Kaohsiung Road. From there, you can either walk (about 15 minutes) or take a local taxi to La Caverna at Old Manager’s House National Monument. Expect to pay a small fare for the taxi ride, usually around 1,500 to 2,000 MWK.
