Car
If you are driving from the main town of Thyolo, head south on the M1 road towards Nsanje. After about 15 km, you will reach the junction to Nsabwe. Take a left onto the road leading to Nsabwe. Continue for approximately 8 km until you reach Ruo River. Look for signs indicating Zoa Falls. There is a small parking area near the falls where you can leave your car.
Public Transportation
From Thyolo, take a minibus heading towards Nsanje or Mulanje. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Nsabwe junction. From there, you can hire a local taxi or walk the remaining 8 km to Zoa Falls. If you choose to walk, be prepared for a scenic but rugged path that leads to the falls, following the Ruo River.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Ruo River, you can reach Zoa Falls by walking. Ensure you follow the river upstream for about 2 km. This route is scenic and offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape, but be cautious of the terrain.
