Car
If you are driving from the central area of Thyolo Highlands, take the road heading towards Zomba. After approximately 16 kilometers, turn left onto Old Mountain Road. Follow Old Mountain Road for about 4 kilometers. You will find Zomba Forest Lodge on your right-hand side at the intersection with Old Up Road. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition as some parts of the road may be uneven.

To reach Zomba Forest Lodge via public transport, first take a minibus or taxi from Thyolo to Zomba town. The fare is typically around 500 MWK. Once you arrive in Zomba, you will need to hire a local taxi to take you to Zomba Forest Lodge. Provide the driver with the address 'Old Mountain Road, Old Up Road'. The taxi ride will take approximately 20 minutes and should cost around 2000 MWK.

If you are staying nearby and prefer to walk, you can follow Old Mountain Road from the nearest bus station in Zomba town. It is about a 4-kilometer walk that will take around 1 hour.
