After approximately 20 kilometers, you'll reach the junction for Chintheche. Turn right onto the road towards Chintheche. Continue for about 10 kilometers until you reach the 55HF+H3 location, which is the Kawiya River area. Be cautious of the local traffic and road conditions, especially if it's rainy season.

For those using public transportation, you can catch a minibus heading to Chintheche from the nearest bus station in the Viphya Mountains. The fare is approximately 500 MWK. Once you arrive in Chintheche, walk towards the direction of Kawiya River, which is roughly a 30-minute walk from the bus drop-off point. If you prefer not to walk, you can hire a local taxi for around 2000 MWK to take you directly to the Kawiya River area.
