Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, head towards Luwazi from your current location in the Viphya Mountains. Follow the main road (M1) heading toward the south until you reach the junction near F4M8+8R coordinates. Turn onto the dirt road leading to the waterfall. The final stretch is about 5 km on a dirt road that may require a 4x4 vehicle, especially in the rainy season. Be cautious of potholes and wildlife. Look for signs or locals to ensure you're on the right path.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transport, find a minibus heading towards Luwazi from your location in the Viphya Mountains. The fare is typically around MWK 500-1000, depending on your starting point. Upon reaching Luwazi, ask the driver to drop you at the nearest point to Kavuzi Waterfall. From there, you may need to walk approximately 5 km along the dirt road to reach the waterfall. It’s advisable to ask locals for directions if unsure.

• Walking
