Car
If you are driving from Zomba Town, head northwest on the Zomba-Blantyre Road (A6) for about 15 kilometers. Look for the sign for Michiru Mountain Conservation Area, which will be on your right. Turn onto the access road and follow it until you reach the parking area at the base of Michiru Peak. Please note that there is a small entrance fee for the conservation area; ensure to have some local currency ready.

Public Transport
From Zomba Town, take a minibus (commonly referred to as a 'dala dala') heading to Blantyre. Make sure to ask the conductor to drop you off at the Michiru Mountain Conservation Area entrance. The fare is typically around 500 MWK (Malawian Kwacha). Once you arrive, you will need to walk about 1 kilometer to the entrance of the conservation area. Upon entering, there is a small fee to access the trails.

If you are already in the vicinity of the Michiru Mountain Conservation Area, you can walk from the nearby neighborhoods. The area is well-marked, and you can follow the signs directing you towards the entrance. It's a pleasant walk through local scenery, but make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the paths can be uneven.
