    Start at Zomba Central Market, which is a central hub for tourists. From the market, head south on Mzuzu Road for about 500 meters until you reach the junction with the road leading to Nandolo. Turn left onto the road towards Nandolo. Continue walking for approximately 1 kilometer until you see a sign for the Mphako spring area on your right. Follow the trail indicated by the sign, which will lead you through some scenic paths. After about 300 meters on the trail, you will reach Mphako spring.

    If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Zomba Central Market and head south on Mzuzu Road. After about 500 meters, turn left at the junction onto the road to Nandolo. Continue cycling for approximately 1 kilometer. Look for the sign for Mphako spring on your right. Follow the trail from the sign, cycling for about 300 meters until you arrive at Mphako spring.
