Getting There

Walking
Start your journey from the Zomba Central Market, which is a well-known landmark in Zomba. Exit the market and head south on the main road, M1. Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach the junction with the road leading to Zomba Plateau. Turn left onto this road. After approximately 10 minutes, you will see a sign indicating the trailhead for Mwendolende potato path. Follow the signs and keep walking for another 20 minutes until you reach the start of the trail.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops near Zomba Central Market. Head south on M1 towards the Zomba Plateau junction.
