Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach the junction with the road leading to Zomba Plateau. Turn left onto this road. Follow the signs and keep walking for another 20 minutes until you reach the start of the trail.

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops near Zomba Central Market. Head south on M1 towards the Zomba Plateau junction. After about 15 minutes of cycling, turn left at the junction onto the road leading to Zomba Plateau. Continue for another 10 minutes until you see the sign for the Mwendolende potato path. Park your bicycle at the trailhead and proceed on foot to enjoy the hiking experience.
