Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from the East Coast of Malaysia, you will first need to drive to the ferry terminal in Kuala Perlis or Kuala Kedah. From any location in the East Coast, take the nearest highway towards Alor Setar. Once you reach Alor Setar, follow the signs to either Kuala Perlis or Kuala Kedah. The ferry ride to Langkawi takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Make sure to check the ferry schedule in advance as it may vary, and tickets can be purchased at the terminal. Once you arrive at Langkawi, rent a car or take a taxi to the Langkawi Sky Bridge, which is located in the Gunung Mat Cincang area.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from major cities like Kuala Terengganu or Kota Bharu to Alor Setar. Once in Alor Setar, you will need to transfer to a local bus or taxi to reach either Kuala Perlis or Kuala Kedah ferry terminals. After arriving in Langkawi via the ferry, you can use local taxis or ride-sharing apps to get to the Langkawi Sky Bridge. Ensure you have enough cash as not all taxis may accept credit cards.

• Ferry

  After arriving at Langkawi by ferry, the most convenient way to reach the Langkawi Sky Bridge is to hire a taxi from the ferry terminal. The ride will take about 30 minutes. If you prefer to drive, consider renting a car at the terminal for more flexibility. The entrance to the Langkawi Sky Bridge is located near the cable car station, and you will need to purchase a ticket to access the cable car ride up to the bridge area.
