Car
If you are driving from George Town, head southwest on Jalan Perak, then take the Penang Bridge to the mainland. Continue on the North-South Expressway (E1) and take the exit for Bukit Mertajam. Follow signs to Bukit Mertajam and continue on Jalan Bagan Luar. Turn onto Lor Aston Indah 2 where Hua Guo Shan is located at 2696, Lor Aston Indah 2, 14000 Bukit Mertajam, Penang.
Bus
From George Town, take a bus from the Penang Sentral terminal heading to Bukit Mertajam. Look for buses that say 'Bukit Mertajam' or 'Butterworth'. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Upon reaching Bukit Mertajam, you can take a local taxi or Grab (a ride-hailing app) to reach Hua Guo Shan at 2696, Lor Aston Indah 2, 14000 Bukit Mertajam. Expect to pay around RM 10-15 for the taxi.
Taxi/Grab
If you are in any major town or city in Penang, you can use a taxi or the Grab app to book a ride directly to Hua Guo Shan. Simply input the destination as '2696, Lor Aston Indah 2, 14000 Bukit Mertajam'. The fare will depend on your starting location but expect it to be around RM 20-40 from central areas.
Train
Take the ETS (Electric Train Service) from Kuala Lumpur to Butterworth station. Once you arrive at Butterworth, take a taxi or Grab to reach Hua Guo Shan, which is approximately 30 minutes away. The train ticket may cost around RM 50-90 depending on the class of service.
