After approximately 90 kilometers, you will reach the town of Marudi. From Marudi, you will need to take a boat to reach the park. The boat ride takes around 1.5 to 2 hours, and you can hire a longboat from the Marudi jetty. Make sure to check the boat schedules and costs, which can vary.

Public Transport (Bus & Boat)
Start your journey in Miri by taking a bus from the Miri Bus Terminal to Marudi. The bus journey takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive at Marudi, head to the jetty and hire a longboat to take you to Gunung Mulu National Park. The boat ride lasts approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Be sure to confirm the boat fare with the operator before boarding.

For a quicker option, you can fly directly to Mulu Airport from Miri or Kota Kinabalu. Look for flights operated by MASwings. From Mulu Airport, you can take a taxi or arrange for a shuttle service to the park entrance. The ride from the airport to the park takes about 20 minutes.
