If you are starting from the Penang Peranakan Mansion, head southeast on Jalan Tun Syed Sheh Barakbah for about 1.5 kilometers. Continue straight until you reach the Esplanade Walkway, which will be on your right.

From the famous Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion (The Blue Mansion), walk northwest on Lebuh Leith towards Lebuh Armenian. Turn left onto Lebuh Armenian and continue until you reach Jalan Tun Syed Sheh Barakbah. Turn right onto Jalan Tun Syed Sheh Barakbah, and Esplanade Walkway will be on your left after a short distance.

Starting from the Penang Street Art area (near Armenian Street), walk towards Jalan Muntri. Turn left onto Jalan Muntri, then take another left onto Jalan Tun Syed Sheh Barakbah. Esplanade Walkway will be situated along this road, a short walk ahead on your right.

Catch a local bus from the George Town Bus Terminal towards the Esplanade area. Alight at the 'Esplanade' stop. From there, walk along Jalan Tun Syed Sheh Barakbah, and you will find the Esplanade Walkway directly ahead.
